I’m taking a surveys course. It involves statistics. It is bending my mind in whole new ways. They say it’s good to try new things, build new circuits in the brain as you mature. Well, I’ll tell you, it’s taking some doing to get this mature student to engage those rarely used muscles in an effort to increase flexibility in my left brain regions. I had to design a causal model that showed the relationships between my variables. For example, familiarity with distance education, views on the subject, and faculty support for the programming. I asked my professor if I could present my model as a collage instead. She said I was subversive. I took it as a compliment. I keep forgetting that these people are marking me.
