I took a look at the impressive Earth Sciences building at UBC recently. The $75 million LEED Gold building is home to Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences, Statistics and the Pacific Institute of the Mathematical Sciences. My favourite feature was the rock that they left as part of the landscaping in the back of the building.
