Balloons Blow

It was world water day yesterday. The City of Vancouver featured ways for you to conserve water and care for local watersheds in their Greenest City News e-letter. There are many groups working to improve local watersheds such as the Rivershed Society of BC and Still Moon Arts Society. David Suzuki posted a link on Facebook about water safety and consumption and the UN’s focus on water and energy this year. I came across Balloons Blow on Facebook yesterday, a non-profit out of Florida dedicated to educating people about marine pollution. The wonderful yet disturbing pictures on their website show the damaging effects of balloons on our oceans and sea life.
