I’ve discovered a wonderful website called Center for Ecoliteracy. The non-profit focuses on ecological education for K-12 and operates out of the David Brower Center in Berkeley, California. They promote a systems-thinking approach to sustainability which uses nature as its inspiration. Many of you sustainability folks will already be familiar with the site and the founders: Fritjof Capra, a physicist; Peter Buckley, a farmer; and Zenobia Barlow, an educator and documentary photographer, among other things. Zenobia is also the Executive Director of the Centre. They have written numerous books and the website is rich with content, resources and I will assume Zenobia’s beautiful photography as featured above. Well worth a visit.
