As it is Easter, it seems appropriate to post my rabbit warren from last year. This was a sculpture I created for a weeklong workshop I was attending with the Wolf Willow Institute. We were delving deep into systems leadership through various arts-based methods and were to create a 3-D object that captured our learnings. As it was the Year of the Rabbit and I was having a lot of rabbit experiences, I settled on a rabbit warren. It represented systems thinking to me. There were many rooms that housed the furry family, a web of interconnected roles and relationships, intertwining pathways, and numerous entrances and exits, openings that allowed for emergence of new patterns. It was a fun activity and a great excuse to get out the playdough!
