Roast Roost

I was in Sydney this past weekend visiting family and friends. My cousin took me to a very cool bakery café for breakfast Saturday morning. Roost Farm Centre is situated on a 10-acre family farm. The wheat, berries, chicken and eggs used in the lovely baked goods and other menu items are all produced right there on the farm. They have a wood fired pizza oven and there’s a winery on site. Wonderful atmosphere, too—I felt like I was in an old farmhouse kitchen. It’s a great spot to roost with a fresh cuppa and a roll when you’re on the Island.
