Rain Gardens

As I wander the UBC campus, I am coming across small, surprising sustainability initiatives. I found a couple of rain gardens and some mason (pollinator) bee hives at the back of the Scarfe (education) building the other day. Would love to know who was responsible for these projects.

  1. I put the mason bee house up at Scarfe and elsewhere in my area
to help with apple tree pollination.
The bees have been using the houses at Scarfe this spring.
Check out the video I shot of them last week on youtube.

    Glad you like them.
